This was the first project I completed as part of my Advanced Diploma at AIE.  It stretched over 2 modules, coding and modelling.  I wanted to recreate a first person version of the game Tenchu which was on Playstation 1.  If you're familiar with the game, you can see that it's influences are everywhere.  Everything in this project was modelled by me, apart from the trees, vegetation etc.  I wanted it to have a very dark and moody atmosphere so that you really felt like you were in a Japanese forest at night, filled with demons!

I needed a little help with the coding as it's never been my strong suit but was able to implement guard paths with nodes that the enemies could pause at for a certain amount of time before they moved on.  They also returned to their patrols after they had lost sight of you for a certain amount of time.  I would have liked to include an enemy proximity meter and throwing food distractions (as per the original game) if more time was available.
